Getting Started with XLR8

Create Your First Goal

  1. Choose a domain – Choose any of our 11 domains — Fitness, Career, Finance, Health, Mental Health, Nutrition, Sleep, Learning, Relationships, Personal Development, or Cessation. You can also select "Auto-detect" and the AI will infer the best domain from your goal title.
  2. Give it a title and optional context – Enter a clear goal title (e.g., "Run a 5K", "Save $5,000"). Optionally add details to help the AI personalize your plan, like your experience level, constraints, or preferences.
  3. Set a target date – Choose when you want to achieve your goal. Plans can span 1–12 weeks.
  4. Generate your plan – The AI creates a multi-week plan with daily tasks. Each task includes a "why," "how," and clear acceptance criteria. Generation takes about 30–60 seconds.

Your Profile

During onboarding you can fill out your expanded profile — fitness level, equipment, dietary preferences, career info, and more. The more you share, the more personalized your plans become. All fields are optional.

Navigating Your Plan

  • Tasks are grouped by week on your goal page. Shorter plans (under 14 days) show as a simple list.
  • Each task shows the scheduled date, estimated duration, and domain-specific details (exercises, resources, etc.).
  • Your dashboard shows a Focus Card with your next task and a "Let's Go" button to jump straight to completing it.

Completing Tasks

Click the checkmark or "Complete" button on any task. You'll see a completion modal where you can log your metrics, rate your mood, enjoyment, and effort (1–10), and add optional notes. This data is saved to your history.

Track Your Progress

  • A progress bar on your goal page shows "Week X of Y" with your completion percentage.
  • When you've completed 80%+ of tasks or are near the end of your plan, a "Generate Next Phase" button appears so you can keep going. The AI uses your completion history to personalize the next batch of tasks.
  • When all tasks are done, you'll see a celebration modal with your total points and options to create a new goal.

Points & Streaks

Earn 10 points for each task you complete and 100 bonus points when you finish all tasks in a goal. Complete tasks on consecutive days to build your streak — visible on your dashboard and goal pages.
